Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum

Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum in Cairo reopened its door to the public on 4 April, after a decade of closure for renovation.

This museum was originally the palace built by Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil, who served twice as Prime Minister of Egypt in the first half of 20th century, and now houses his art collection.

The museum houses a significant collection of Impressionist, Romantic and Classical works, including pieces by great artists in the 19th−early 20th centuries such as Auguste Rodin , Eugène Delacroix, Claude Monet and Paul Gauguin,.

Opening hours are Saturday−Sunday, Tuesday−Thursday 10:00−16:00.
