【Cairo Dep.】Luxor–Aswan–Abu Simbel 3 Day Tour

Itinerary

Day 1

Early in the morning, meet our English speaking assistant at hotel lobby lounge. Then transfer to Cairo Airport with the English speaking assistant by private car.
Our English speaking airport representative will assist your departure from Cairo Airport.
Fly to Luxor (You’ll fly solo) . 
After arrival at Luxor Airport, meet our English speaking assistant at the airport lobby. Your English speaking guide will be waiting for you outside airport.
You’ll start the trip to the west bank of the Nile with your guide by private car. 
Explore the Necropolis of Thebes. First, enter the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of the pharaohs for 500 years since the 16th century BC, including the tomb of “the boy king” Tutankhamun. Enter the tomb of Tutankhamun (*extra ticket) — discovered in 1922 by British archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter.
Next, enjoy the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), the stunning architectural masterpiece which ancient Egypt’s first female pharaoh Hatshepsut built. Then, visit the Valley of the Queens (*extra ticket) to see the amazingly beautiful tomb of Queen Nefertari (*extra ticket). 
View the Colossi of Memnon, then go to the east bank of the Nile.
Lunch at a good quality local restaurant.
On the east bank, explore the Karnak Temple, known as Ipet-isut,  the “most selected of places” in ancient Egyptian, where the many pharaohs wished to record their names to be remembered for their contributions to this site. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, strolling among its giant columns.
Then, transfer to hotel and check in.
In the evening, after rest in hotel, transfer with guide by private car to visit the Luxor Temple lit up at night,  which many pharaohs played a part in building over the years, beginning from 18th dynasty. This is incredibly rich with the chronicles of the past, not only from ancient Egypt, but also the Greco-Roman, Coptic and Islamic eras.
Then back to hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel lobby. Please check out of your hotel.
At 7:00, transfer to Aswan with guide by private car (Duration: 5 hours).  
At 12:00, arrival at Aswan.
Lunch at a good quality local restaurant.
Then you’ll start the city tour of Aswan. Firstly, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, the 42 meter-long obelisk abandoned in the Northern granite quarries in Aswan. Then, visit the Aswan High Dam. After that, explore  Philae Temple,  the sacred complex with a fusion of three great civilizations — Egyptian, Greek and Roman. 
Then, transfer to hotel, and check in.

Day 3

After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel lobby. Please check out of your hotel.
At 8:00, transfer with guide to Abu Simbel by private car (Duration: 3.5 hours).
After arrival, enjoy the Abu Simbel Temples − the Greatspace Temple which Ramses II built for the dedication to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re and Ramses II himself; and the Small Temple which Ramses II built for his favorite consort, Nefertari, and Hathor, the wife of the Sun God. 
Lunch at a good quality local restaurant.
At 13:30, back to Aswan with guide (Duration: 3.5 hours). 
At 17:00, arrival at Aswan Airport. Our English speaking airport assistant will assist your departure to Cairo.
Fly to Cairo (You’ll fly solo).
After arrival at Cairo Airport, our English speaking airport representative will welcome you. Then transfer to your hotel with our English speaking assistant by private car.
